Merino wool is an exceptional natural material that will last for many years when properly cared for. You don't have to worry about complicated maintenance – simply follow a few basic guidelines.
After washing, gently squeeze out excess water without wringing the garment, then reshape it to its original form.
Leave it to dry flat, ideally on a clean, dry towel.
One of the greatest benefits of merino wool is that it doesn't need to be washed after every wear. In most cases, simply airing the garment outdoors is enough to freshen it up for your next adventure.
Merino wool lasts for many years, and many types of minor damage can be repaired easily. If you're unsure how to proceed or the damage is more extensive, we'll be happy to help in our repair workshop.
Send us a photo at info@kama.cz. We'll assess the damage and recommend the most suitable solution. Minor repairs are free of charge, while more extensive repairs are priced individually.

Through a unique technology, a plastic bottle is transformed into a high-performance fibre certified under Oeko-Tex® Standard 100, suitable for use in the apparel industry.
With this approach, KAMA joins the ranks of global brands committed to environmental sustainability.
For example, producing one balaclava uses approximately three PET bottles.
The Austrian company Schoeller is renowned for its technological firsts and consistent commitment to environmental protection. Some of its most notable milestones include:
EXP (EX-Pollution) – the world’s first chlorine-free washable wool yarns, meeting the strictest international environmental standards, including bluesign® APPROVED.
Aramid fibre dyeing – Schoeller was the first spinning mill in the world to successfully dye para-aramid and meta-aramid fibres after extrusion, highly technical materials typically used in protective clothing.
Bright and white wool dyeing – Schoeller was also the first to achieve vivid colours and pure white dyeing on wool without the use of aggressive chemicals, previously considered nearly impossible.
bluesign® is one of the world’s most stringent standards for ecological and safe textile production. The bluesign® APPROVED certification guarantees:
Minimal environmental impact throughout the entire production chain – from raw material to finished product,
Safe and non-toxic material composition,
Protection of workers, consumers, and the environment.
KAMA’s partnership with Schoeller reflects a deep commitment to responsible business practices, without compromising on quality, performance, or environmental values.
