BASIC MERINO CARE

Merino is a natural, durable, and surprisingly low-maintenance material.
There’s no need to worry about it – caring for it is simple and easy for everyone.

Just follow a few basic rules:

• Wash on a wool cycle, ideally up to 30 °C (86 °F) and low spin
• You can also hand wash in lukewarm water
• Use detergents designed for wool

After washing

• Gently squeeze out water (❗ do not wring or twist)
• Dry flat to help the garment keep its shape

What to avoid

• ❗ Do not use fabric softener or a tumble dryer
• ❗ Do not dry on a radiator – it may shrink
• ❗ Avoid hot water and sudden temperature changes

Small tip

• Merino doesn’t need frequent washing – often it’s enough to just air it out

How to extend the life of merino

• Wash less, air more
• Treat stains locally, no need to wash the whole garment
• Store flat, not on a hanger
• Pilling can be easily removed (by hand or with a fabric shaver)
• If needed, steam instead of ironing – ironing is usually unnecessary
